About the service
Mid Mersey Digital Alliance provides IT service and support to all Trust staff.
We have an IT Service Desk for staff to contact with any queries or requests for IT service, a Network Team and Digital Systems Team who keep the Trust’s systems up and running.
The Information Governance Team is also part of Mid Mersey Digital Alliance, as well as an IT Training Team, Project Teams, the Trust’s Library and Knowledge Service and the Health Records Department.
In 2019, the Trust achieved an outstanding CQC rating. Investment in IT has made a significant contribution to this, delivering the safe and sustainable foundation to enable 5-star patient care.
In 2018, the Trust implemented System C’s CareFlow EPR which provides a full suite of information and tools at clinicians’ fingertips, including e-observations, handovers and assessments.
Now the Trust is building on this success with the help of funding from the Digital Aspirant Programme to rollout additional capabilities to improve the patient journey and patient outcomes.
