Strategic Command & Control Plans
In the event of a Major Incident being declared the Trust's executives will form a strategic hospital NHS BRONZE COMMAND TEAM led by a NHS Bronze Commander and Medical Coordinator and supported by a NHS BRONZE CONTROL SUPPORT TEAM. They will operate from one of 2 MAJOR INCIDENT SUITES located in the Executive Suite on Level 5, Whiston Hospital and the alternative in the Admin Area, Red Zone, St. Helens Hospital. There is a Major Incident Command & Control Suite Plan tailored for both sites and a TRUST EXECUTIVE ACTION PACK to enable the executives to operate a strategic whole hospital response within a Countywide Bronze (OPERATIONAL), Silver (TACTICAL), Gold (STRATEGIC) . MAJOR INCIDENT COMMAND STRUCTURE.

This fits in with the Merseyside Joint Emergency Services Interoperability Partnership (JESIP) which is coordinated from a Joint Command & Control Centre (JCCC) housed in the HQ of Merseyside Fire & Rescue Service.
