It is vital that we continue to learn from patient experience in order to further improve the high standards of care provided at our hospitals and the Trust is extremely proud of its work involving patients in decisions about services provided.
Patient involvement is co-ordinated by the Trust's Patient Experience Manager and happens in a number of ways:
- 6C Strategy Groups
- Patient Led Assessments of the Care Environment (PLACE)
- Friends and Family Test feedback
- Individual service patient forum groups
The Trust also welcomes feedback from patients through our Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS), who can help with any issues patients may have when they are in hospital.
