How to Raise Funds

Fundraising

The continued support of those who raise money for our hospitals is invaluable. All donations are gratefully received and they make such a difference to so many people.

Whether it is donations left through legacies or from the many fantastic deeds of our fundraising supporters, such as; charity balls, activity events, bingo nights or marathons, every penny raised goes a long way towards helping patients and their families.

Charitable funds have purchased many valuable items with the funds raised. These items help staff provide the very best care for our patients, but are over and above that which is provided by the NHS. Just a few of those items include:

  • Children's play items
  • Furniture for the Trust's reminiscence rooms for the elderly
  • Physiotherapy equipment for burns patients
  • Additional equipment for newborn babies
  • Wall mounted TVs
  • Reclining chairs
  • Breast pumps
  • Mobile fans and heaters
  • Wheelchairs
  • Microscopes
