Twiddlemuffs are a great way to help people with moderate or later stages of dementia when they are bored or in need of distraction in hospital.
The knitted muffs, which act as a therapeutic aid for our dementia patients, also provide simple stimulation for hands, while promoting increased flexibility and brain stimulation.

Special Recognition Award 2015
We are delighted to have won the 'Best Patient Experience in the NHS' at the CHKS Top Hospitals Awards 2015.

Midwife of the Year
Our Midwife, Joanne Price, is the Northern England winner of the 2015 RCM Annual Midwifery Awards 2015: Johnson's® Baby Mums' Midwife of the Year Award. This film explains the reason why she was nominated for the award.
