Can you take on the biggest business brain challenge?03 August 2017

Whiston and St Helens Hospitals’ Charity are setting local businesses the challenge of turning £50 into a fortune with their best business brain challenge!

Can you turn £50 into £100 or even more? Do you have wacky ways that you and your staff can create fun and funds for our patients? Well we want to hear from you!

The charity is looking for 20 local businesses to take part in its first ever accumulator challenge.
Each team that signs up will be presented with an initial stake of £50, it will then be the team’s task to make as much money as possible throughout September.

Scottish Power Energy Networks is the first business to have signed up to the event and the team are raring to go.

Andrew Lloyd, Merseyside District Manager, said: “The challenge is great for local businesses and our staff as it’s all about team building, creativity, and having fun. We are really excited to be on board and have already decided we are going to win!”

There are countless things you can do to raise money; hold a cake sale, an office tuck shop or think big… raffle a day’s holiday, hold a charity football match, a car park car wash, quizzes and bingos, the choice is yours!

The money from the event will enable staff at Whiston and St Helens hospitals to provide services for patients’ wellbeing, which would not otherwise be possible through NHS budgets.

Help your community, your family and your friends, by helping your local hospitals and brightening the lives of our patients!

Any workplace that would like to enter should call the Charity Office on: 0151 676 5938 / 290 4531 or
